L&G
Letty Stoneman Smith - aka. simple. aka. letty-betty.
How does this sound for “simple”? Up at dawn, feed them chicks, milk the cows, hay the calves, grain the horses, put together 30 baskets of your home grown organic veggies and deliver all over Chattanooga(Circle S CSA). Squeeze in a guitar lesson and some tunes with G, ride Mel and Merle then put all the critters back to bed including a tired carpenter / craftsman hubbie. And just for kicks, she heads off to ride the equine 3-DayEvent circuit picking up top ten finishes whenever and wherever! Whew. Tired yet? Did we brag about her home-made goat cheese and cow’s milk mozzarella? On the music front, Letty writes, co-writes, sings, plays guitar, and piano when L&G hit the road.
Georgianna George Pollock - aka. plain. aka. “G”
How does this sound for “plain”? G rolls out of her little log cabin and over to her barn, Rock Bluff Stables to feed 16 horses morning and night. She mounts up to ride and train the young ones getting them ready for show. Come the afternoon hours, the human young show up for their favorite instructor to give them lessons. Somewhere in between she squeezes in a bike ride, guitar lesson, a little strumming, oil painting and some stair climbing at the state park. She and hubbie MikeyP can rarely be found close by on weekends when they ride bikes and climb mountains. Georgia also sings, writes, co-writes and plays both acoustic and electric guitar.
